Assault weapons have no business being in the hands of private individuals.   The 2nd amendment states “A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.“  The key words that are often ignored are “A well regulated militia…” and that does not mean your average Joe.
